Blind and Deaf

Acts 28:25-6 “So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, ‘You will hear clearly but never understand. You will see clearly but never comprehend…'”

Paul was quoting Isaiah 6:9-10 here, “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’” We have made a few posts on the spiritual meaning of “blind” and “deaf”, click here to read more. Spiritual blindness comes by being surrounded by false god worship.. it clouds the eyes and ears, that it makes it impossible for people to understand, or have meaningful conversations. One finds yourself talking in circles, or like talking to a wall. But where is the false god worship today, right? See our post back in Acts 14 about “Zeus and Hermes”, and how our society (especially our children) are drenched with false god worship! It is in celebrations from “Easter” to Christmas, in super heroes (which means great god) programs and tv shows, it is everywhere.. click here to see our posts on “other gods”. People think it is just for fun, but not realizing how all this fun are making them blind to the truth.
