Jerusalem the center
Ezekiel 5:5 “Thus says YHWH Elohim: ‘This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her.”
Some translations say, Jerusalem is in the center. The Hebrew word used here is Tavek H8432 – tāveḵ, which could mean the middle, but mostly in the midst, or among, between or within. Isaiah 49:6 says, “I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth”, where Salvation is the root word for Yeshua’s name. Jerusalem is like the center, where the light should shine from. Isaiah 60:3, “The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Micah 4:2 says, “Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, To the house of the Elohim of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.”
Jerusalem has historically been considered the spiritual center of the world, a concept rooted in Jewish and Christian traditions that identified it as the literal “center of the earth” or the “navel of the world”. This idea is prominent in biblical texts and was depicted on medieval maps, which placed Jerusalem at the geographic and spiritual heart of the known world.
One Third
Ezekiel 5:12 “One-third of you shall die of the pestilence, and be consumed with famine in your midst; and one-third shall fall by the sword all around you; and I will scatter another third to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.”
Ezekiel and John from Revelation both refer to the thirds of destruction. In Revelation 8 we read about a thirds of the trees and grass burned, a third of the sea burned up with a third of sea creatures dying and ships destroyed. Also a third of the waters become bitter, a third of the sun, moon and stars are darkened. In Revelation 12:3-4 we read “And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.”
It could be that a third of destruction or punishment happens, because it is implied that ha-satan defeated a third of the angels. Interestingly, the freemason cult have their 33rd degree, the highest honor given in their rites and rituals, celebrating and being proud of something that resembles a THIRD.
Secret societies
Ezekiel 8:12 “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘YHWH does not see us”
Some translation say, “in secret“. The Hebrew word Hosek H2822 – ḥōšeḵ means darkness, obscurity, secrets. Ezekiel 8 goes on about the aboninations done in secret, worship rituals, where people think no one sees them.
