Enquire First
1 Chronicles 14:10 “And David enquired of YHWH”
Twice David went to YHWH, and twice YHWH answered David – with different tactics. The second time was even more spectacular, as YHWH said it will sound like marching in front of the balsam trees – as YHWH will go ahead of David (verse 15).
The Hebrew word for enquire is Shaal H7592 – šā’al, meaning to ask, beg, enquire – but also to salute! To borrow or earnestly request.
