Music - Service of Songs
1 Chronicles 6:31 “Now these are the men whom David appointed over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after the ark came to rest.”
David made sure there will always be singing! Not just singing, but it was a “Service of Song”! In Hebrew the word service is Yad H3027 – yāḏ, meaning Hand! Also giving meaning to power, anointed, power, a sign/monument, direction. And the Hebrew word for song is Sir H7892 – šîr, meaning music or singers.
