2 Chronicles 34:15 “I have found the Book of the Teachings H8451 in YHWH’s temple”  And verse 30, “He read everything written in the Book of the Covenant H1285 found in YHWH temple so that they could hear it”

There are two Hebrews words used here:

• Torah H8451 – tôrâ – Also called Teaching, Instruction, Direction, Law.  Torah is also referred to as the Laws of Moses.  This Book includes the following Scripture Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
• Berit H1285 – bᵊrîṯ – Covenant.  The Book of the Covenant, specifically found in Exodus 20:22-23:33, is a collection of laws within the larger Torah (1st Five Books of Scripture – Genesis to Deuteronomy). 

In a previous post 2 Chronicles 6 (click here to read more), we looked at the word Berit – how special it is the Alliance/Covenant YHWH made with men.

So the book of the Covenant is found WITHIN the Book of Teaching. 

The book of Teaching is also known as Torah, the Book of Laws, the laws of Moses, or YHWH’s Instructions.
