Study Gem : Light
In Genesis 1:3 Notice that YHWH created light but he didn’t create the sun and the stars until Genesis 1:13. The original word for “light” referenced in Genesis 1:3 is Or (Lexicon Study H216). This is the same light that Israel had with the last plague in Exodus 10:23 (but all the children of Israel had light H216 in their dwellings.)
אוֹר ʼôwr, ore; from H215; illumination or (concrete) luminary (in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.):—bright, clear, day, light (-ning), morning, sun.

IMPORTANT SCRIPTURES / PROPHECIES:
Genesis 1 to 3 is FULL of pearls and nuggets! So this initial list is bit long. This is usually why when people start reading the Bible, you don’t get past Genesis 3 – because there are just so many rabbit holes to get lost in. So make sure to continue tomorrow with Day 2’s reading 🙂

| Gen 2:18 Not good to be alone Although many prophets walk alone, men and woman are created in the image of YHVH – that we do not want, and should not be alone – IT IS NOT GOOD. We thirst for love and company – and so does YHVH that we should spend time with Him! |

| Gen 3:16 Husband to rule over the woman Husbands are the head of the home. They are the leaders and protectors. They have the last say, and it is a beautiful thing when husbands can rule with love and woman let their husbands take the lead. |
| Gen 3:17-19 The ground is hard to toil – thorns and thistles “Being the breadwinners is not an easy task – but it is still rewarding. “Toiling the ground” daily is a fact, even if you sit behind a desk – we all, but especially the men, have to work hard to take care of their families. Scripture says that Cain was also a tiller of the ground – and that is perhaps the thing that tests our hearts and humility.” |
| Gen 3:21 Be clothed – cover yourself Like a parent, YHVH clothed His children. Just like we do as parents today. There is a reason why we need to clothe and cover ourselves. Some other religions promote nakedness, and most in today’s culture want to be and walk naked. But that is not how we as YHVH children are to look. We should make sure our bodies are covered. |
