Imaginations
Gen 6:5 translated from Hebrew says, the thoughts and intentions of mans’ heart were evil all day long.
The word used in Gen 6:5 is Imagination (H3336 – yēṣer)
The root word for Yeser – imagination is H3335 – yāṣar : which means to squeeze or form into shape. So YHVH Yasar us (Genesis 2:7) – and He gives us instructions and guidelines to help us with our natural sinful pull in our Yeser (thoughts/intentions).
Ark
Gen 6:14 the word for ark, made of gopher wood (which is another rabbit trail..) – is the word H8392 – tēḇâ.
Teba/Ark means like a chest/box/even a coffin.
The ONLY other place where this word is used in Scripture is in Exodus 2:3/5, where Moses was placed in a Ark of bulrushes. In both these cases, 2 great men from our Bible history were saved from the waters, Noah and Moses. And with both these men, YHVH made a covenant with men. One with the Rainbow, and second with the Commandments & Instructions (Torah).

| Gen 4:26 People began to worship YHVH I always found this verse in the Bible interesting.. Didn’t they before worship before? Obviously YHVH is their Father and Elohim – and like Adam, and his sons, they walked with YHVH and did make sacrifices already. I have a feeling that people already forgot and didn’t know YHVH, so when someone told them about YHVH – they began to worship him.. because with time you begin to know Him intimately and begin to “walk” with Him. But obviously – if you are His child, you will automatically worship Him with all your heart, sould, mind and body. |
| Gen 7:2, Gen 8:20 Clean vs unclean animals “Noah only offered clean (all the clean) animals – and it smelled so soothing to YHVH that He made a promise (even before the rainbow) to never curse the ground again because of man – even though man’s heart is evil from youth. In Genesis 6 YHVH says He will establish a covenant with Noah because he walked with YHVH and was righteous. Obviously YHVH taugh Noah and even his forefathers (Enoch, etc) more commands, especially about what is clean and unclean” |
