John 3:3 “Yeshua answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.””

In verse 12 Yeshua says, “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?”. Back in Psalm 34 we posted about the two births and two deaths (click here to read more). Being born again is a choice, but is necessary to live after the body dies. That is the point where you start a Spiritual/Spirit-filled life, and letting go of everything that is of the world. If a person is not born again in the spirit, he will die a second death after Judgement. Those who were born again, will be allowed to enter the kingdom of YHWH. But if they have rejected the second birth, they will be left outside the Kingdom, waiting for the second death which comes after Judgement.

Luke 13:27-28, “But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of lawlessness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of Elohim, and you yourselves thrust out“.

John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him”. Other translations say, “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him”.

He who believes .. and he who does not believe/obey. The first greek word (in the first sentence) is Pisteuo G4100 – pisteuō. See our post from Luke 8 about the greek vs hebrew vs english meanings on Believe and Faith. But the second sentence in greek does not have the word “pisteuo” or believe.. but the word Apeitheo G544 – apeitheō. You can even do a search on the greek word for “disobey“, it is Apeitheo. The root word is G545 – apeithēs, meaning impersuasible, not compliant, disobedient, stubborn and disobedient.

Other Scriptures for this “disobey” include Luke 1:17, “He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for YHWH.”. Also in Titus 1 and 3, “They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.”, “For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.”
